‘Ek Do Teen’ is actress Madhuri Dixit’s iconic track from the movie ‘Tezaab’. It was choreographed by Saroj Khan.
Saroj Khan died on the age of 71 after a cardiac arrest on Friday. She was some of the prolific choreographers of the Hindi movie business, fondly referred to as ‘Master ji’. Saroj Khan had referred to as the photographs in over 2,000 songs spanning over 4 many years.
She gained recognition within the mid to late eighties, first directing some memorable dances for Sridevi after which Madhuri Dixit, the reigning superstars of the period.
Saroj Khan gained the National Award thrice in her lifetime. In 2003, she acquired the honour for the track ‘Dola Re Dola’ in ‘Devdas’. In 2006, she was a recipient of the award for all of the songs she choreographed within the Tamil movie, ‘Sringaram’. In 2008, she gained the National Award for the track ‘Yeh Ishq Haaye’ in ‘Jab We Met’.
