Orange have been crowned champions of PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) South Asia 2020 League Stage after more than 2 months of exhilarating battle. Orange Rock finished on top of the overall standings with 657 points on Sunday.
TSM ENTITY, the winner of India Today League PUBG Mobile Invitational, finished 2nd despite getting eliminated early with 0 kill points in Match 5 of Day 4 of Week 3 – the final match of the league stage. They walked away with 631 points and 8 Chicken Dinners.
PMPL South Asia 2020 Day 4, Week 3 Highlights: SouL win final Chicken Dinner of League Stage
GodLike, despite finishing with 0 kill points in the final match of the league stage, finished 3rd after overtaking SynerGE with a Chicken Dinner in Match 4 of Day 4 of Week 3 in Miramar.
World League berths for the top 3
All three teams — Orange Rock, TSM ENTITY and GodLike — have qualified for the World League. SynerGE fans will be gutted as they let go of the top 3 spot on the final day of the PMPL South Asia 2020 League Stage.
Top 16 teams qualify for June 12-14 PMPL South Asia 2020 Finals
The top 16 teams on the overall points table have qualified for the PMPL South Asia 2020 Finals which will be held over the weekend of June 12 to June 14.
Deadeyes Guy (20th), INES (19th), Team HYPE (18th), Jyan Maara (17th) are the 4 teams who have been eliminated. Team Tamilas clinged on and managed to qualify for PMPL South Asia 2020 Finals at the 16th spot.
The PMPL South Asia Finals will offer a total prize money pool of $131,500. Teams also took home big cheques from the league stage as it offers a total prize pool of $61,500.
Orange Rock and TSM ENTITY were battling for the top spot until the final match of the PMPL South Asia 2020 League Stage. With TSM ENTITY failing to impress on the final, Orange Rock were crowned champions of the league stage and won the top cash prize of $10,000.
TSM ENTITY walked away with a total cash prize of $8,000 while GodLike took home $6,000.
All these teams will be in action in the PMPL South Asia 2020 Finals wherein the winner will walk away with a total of $40,000.
Keep in mind, the teams that finished at the top 2 spots of PMPL South Asia 2020 Finals next week will also grab spots at the PMPL World League.
